A Growing Opportunity for Congregations
Hispanic Ministry
Leaders of a growing Hispanic community are looking to Agora for developing a partnership with Lutherans in the U.S. to extend ministry partnerships to expand the presence of diversity in our congregations.
According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, more than 205,000 Hispanics are in Minnesota today and the population is growing. Most of our Hispanic brothers and sisters are of Roman Catholic church heritage, but today many of them are being recruited to Seventh-day Adventists, Pentecostal and other denominations.
Agora can be a bridge for congregations to welcome Hispanics to existing Lutheran congregations. Currently, we are looking for a congregation in Inver Grove Heights and Minnetonka for parthership.
